Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of FreshFridge at freshfridge.lol, including the public fridge, checkout, company placements, stats, and related features. By using the Service, submitting a company, or completing a payment, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Operator and contact

FreshFridge is operated as an independent online project. Legal, privacy, payment, and listing notices can be sent to contact@freshfridge.lol.

These Terms work together with the public Rules. If the Rules and these Terms conflict, these Terms control.

What FreshFridge is

FreshFridge is a paid public placement board presented as an interactive online fridge. Customers may pay to place a company, product, or project website into a visible fridge compartment. Placement is determined by paid bid amount under the Rules.

A payment does not guarantee traffic, clicks, customers, revenue, search ranking, a fixed duration in a specific position, or any particular business result. Other customers may pay more and move above you.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• If you use FreshFridge for a company, you represent that you have authority to act for that company.
• You may not use the Service if doing so would violate trade sanctions or other applicable law.

Payments, Dodo Payments, and taxes

Checkout is processed by Dodo Payments. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers. Dodo Payments may apply its own terms and privacy notice to the payment process. Amounts are priced in US dollars, and applicable taxes may be added at checkout.

New placements start at the minimum shown in the Rules. Existing placements using the same URL may be raised by paying the difference between the current bid and the new total bid. Placement is assigned only after payment is confirmed and the paid bid is written to the fridge.

No refunds

Payments are final and non-refundable unless a mandatory law requires otherwise. The digital service begins as soon as payment is confirmed: the placement is created or raised, and the paid amount is reflected publicly. Being moved down, receiving fewer clicks than expected, downtime, or removal for breach of these Terms does not create a refund right.

Placement requirements

• You may only submit a website you own or are authorized to represent.
• The submitted URL and company name must be accurate and not misleading.
• The destination must not be malware, phishing, a scam, impersonation, or a site whose main purpose is to deceive visitors.
• You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to your company, destination, claims, and industry.

Prohibited use

You may not submit or use FreshFridge for:

• Illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, hateful, violent, or exploitative content.
• Sexual, pornographic, or adult-platform content.
• Chat, invite, messaging-group, or link-shortener destinations.
• Counterfeit goods or intellectual-property infringement.
• Regulated offers where you do not hold required licenses, including certain financial, medical, gambling, weapons, or similar offers.
• Scraping, rate-limit bypassing, fake clicks, automated bidding without permission, or attempts to disrupt the Service.

Removals and moderation

We may refuse, delay, hide, edit, or remove any placement if we believe it creates legal, security, abuse, rights, payment, or reputational risk, or if it violates these Terms or the Rules. Removal for violation does not entitle you to a refund.

Public metadata and license

To operate the fridge, we may fetch and display public information about listed destinations, including names, favicons, titles, and descriptions. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, cache, reproduce, format, and publicly display submitted placement information and fetched public metadata for as long as needed to operate, moderate, promote, and archive the Service.

No endorsement, no guarantees

A placement is not our review, certification, endorsement, or recommendation. Destination sites are operated by third parties and have their own terms and practices. We do not verify all claims made by listed companies.

Availability and changes

FreshFridge is provided as-is and may be unavailable, slow, inaccurate, or changed at any time. We may change features, prices, rules, ranking behavior, or these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, indirect damages, or consequential damages. Our total liability for a claim related to a payment is limited to the amount you paid for the placement giving rise to that claim.

General

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, the Rules, the Privacy Policy, and the checkout details form the entire agreement for the Service.
